8 Good Qualities of Professional Dentist

When it comes to choosing a dentist, the choice may not be as easy as you first think. People shouldn't just look to find a dentist that is good for one treatment, but rather they should aim to develop a lasting relationship with someone who they know they can go to whenever they need assistance with their oral health. Walter Palmer, Minnesota dentist who killed Cecil the lion, returns to work

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Minnesota dentist who killed Cecil the lion returned to work Tuesday after weeks away, walking silently past a swarm of media and a handful of protesters outside his small dental practice calling for him to be sent to Zimbabwe to face trial.

A security guard met Walter Palmer in the parking lot of the Bloomington clinic as he walked from a street where police had blocked off traffic, whisking him inside past a barrage of reporters shouting questions.

Palmer announced Sunday in an interview with The Associated Press - his first since the uproar broke over Cecil's killing during a hunt in Zimbabwe's vast Hwange National Park in July - that he would return

Cecil the lion backlash: Where is dentist Walter Palmer?

The Minnesota dentist has gone underground in the onslaught of criticism after he killed a prized African lion named Cecil.

It probably shouldn't come as a surprise; an angry horde of Cecil supporters is calling for his head to be mounted on a wall.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is investigating the circumstances surrounding the lion's killing.

"At this point in time, however, multiple efforts to contact Dr. Walter Palmer have been unsuccessful. We ask that Dr. Palmer or his representative contact us immediately," said Edward Grace, the service's deputy chief of law enforcement.

CNN knocked on the door of his Minneapolis home, but no one answered.<

Non-Lion-Hunting Dentist Makes Fun Of Lion-Hunting Dentist On His Office Sign

Back in July, dentistWalter Palmer infamously hunted Zimbabwe's beloved Cecil the Lion, an act that cost him $55,000 and, given the amount of hate messages, perhaps his dental practice.

Not wanting to be associated with the Clayton-esque "Tarzan" villain that just also happens to clean teeth, Curtis Hagerty of the Russellville, Arkansas branch of Hagerty Family Dental recently changed his front signto say, "By the way, I don't hunt https://dentalbracesetobicoke.wordpress.com/2015/04/28/look-after-your-teeth-proven-tips/ lions."

Hagerty Family Dental posted a picture of the sign to their Facebook pagelate Tuesday. From there,Reddit userstone122311published the above image to the social-sharing site earlier Wednesday, leading the sign from his "hometown" to go viral.

The Huffington Post has reached out to both Hagerty Family Dental and the Reddit user, but did not hear back by the time this article was published.

Two Zimbabweans granted bail in death of Cecil the lion

Theo Bronchorst, a professional hunter, and Honest Trymore Ndlovu, a landowner, both Zimbabweans, said through their attorney that they were innocent of poaching charges, which officials said could bring a sentence of 10 years in prison.

Zimbabwean authorities said that Walter J. Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota, paid at least $50,000 for the hunt. Palmer has said he relied on the expertise of local guides "to ensure a legal hunt."

But the lion that he and his local guides killed wasn't just any lion, according to Zimbabwean officials.

The 13-year-old lion, recognizable by the black streaks in his mane, suffered a slow death, according to the Zimbabwe Conservation Task
